The moderator of the start-up scene
Benny Ge
As a child, Benny Ge already thought about how to start a startup . He annoyed his parents daily with pitches about his latest idea. However, as he grew older, he became more fascinated with the subject in theory than in practice. At university, he began studying entrepreneurship , eventually conducting research, and ultimately teaching. As an employee of a startup center, Benny Ge moderated various pitch events . He has strong connections in the startup scene and, as a moderator for startup formats, is constantly updated on the latest trends in the field.

ABOUT
Moderator for Science and
University Events
The moderator, Benny Ge, not only studied for his master's degree at the university but also worked as a research assistant, lecturer, and administrative employee at the university. He therefore understands the role of a moderator at a university event from almost every perspective. He knows how moderation can support learning and academic debate. In his view, poor event moderation at university events, however, leads to incorrectly focused topics and a superficial university event. It doesn't get to the heart of the matter and doesn't advance discussion participants or professional attendees.

Start-ups & me
Book a start-up event moderator
For several years now, it's been true that nowhere is there such a great need for event moderation as in the startup scene. Why? Events are popping up everywhere. It seems as if investors are desperate to part with their money. At pitch events , event moderators are a particular focus: they conduct interviews, facilitate Q&As , and act as strict timekeepers .
Why book a moderator for a start-up pitch event?
Pitch events are commonplace in the startup scene. According to urban legend, at least one startup pitch event takes place in Berlin every day. This can easily include 5-10 pitches in a row. After the fifth pitch, things can get boring, especially if the startup event isn't professionally moderated. A professional moderator will dramaturgically sequence the pitches, skillfully connect them, and recapture audience attention at the right points through stories and interaction with the audience. Therefore, book a pitch event moderator to ensure your startup event doesn't flop.
